8:15-9:30 pm Guided Practica for All Levels
Work on movements you've learned in classes and workshops in a supervised practice. Gentlemen, practice your lead! Ladies, practice your follow in a friendly, non-threatening environment designed to get you ready for milongas! Advanced dancers: Fly your tango on ATI's huge wooden floor-without the crowds! Featuring traditional, Nuevo and Alternative music!
9:30-10:30 Apres-Tango Chat
Cap off the night with lights and music turned low for casual, intimate conversation with a little wine. BYOB

TANGO LESSONS WITH NINA TATAROWICZ & TANGO ELIXIR
Get ready for "Tango on the Town" festival at the end of August with a new session of classes at ATI with Nina Tatarowicz, one of Chicago's leading ladies in Argentine Tango. Check out the details below. It takes 2 to tango, but you don't need a partner to come to class. Come alone or bring your friends!
SUMMER III SESSION August 4, 11, 18 & 25
Wednesdays at ATI 325 N. Hoyne:
Basics: 7 - 8 pm August topic: Crossed System
Ongoing Intermediate: Improvisation & Musicality: 8 - 9 pm August topic: Vals & Milonga
(Students registered in the Intermediate class are invited to take the BASIC class at no charge in order to strengthen fundamentals & meet some new folks in the tango scene!)
Which class is for you?
BASIC PROGRAM: Comprised of 4 different courses (A, B, C & D) in 4 week sessions. Courses rotate on a monthly basis. Take them in any order. Complete all 4 courses to enter the PRE-Intermediate Level.
ONGOING IMPROV & MUSICALITY: Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate Level. Students should have completed the BASIC program or have previous Argentine Tango experience (w/ consent of instructor). Expand your tango vocabulary w/ a new topic every 4 weeks focusing on musicality & improvisation.
$60 for 4 week session if registered by previous week
$65 for 4 week session when registering the week of the first day
